Strengths: Decent sound, respectable price, serves as a usb hub
Weaknesses: The "wire organizer" is a joke, not quite portable, no 3.5" jack for MP3 players
Summary: I was pleased with the sound from this unit; however, I wish it had an auxillary input jack to take advantage of MP3 players. I purchased this unit because it has received decent reviews and was on sale for a reasonable price. Because it is not as portable as advertised, I would place it in the same category as 2.1 setups. Because of this change in classification, I would select other units for their superior sound quality.

Strengths: Good sound considering it's size. Easy to use. Compact.
Weaknesses: Weak bass.
Summary: Overall, for the money that you spend on these speakers, they sound great. Obviously, if you are some audiophile these speakers will not be up to snuff, but for what they are meant for, these are perfect. They are constructed very well and look good under the my LCD monitor. I play music on them all the time and while they can't compare with a full stereo system, it sounds good to me. The best part is that they are compact and one bar. No crazy wires everywhere, just two, one for the power cable, another for the usb.

Strengths: Compact Size, Sleek Design, USB Expansion (3 ports)
Weaknesses: Bass not a strong as similarly priced 2.1 desktop speakers
Summary: I purchased the Logitech AudioHub for my daughter to use with a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. I'm happy with the purchase because it meets her needs and I understood its limitations.I was looking for something portable in the sense that it would be easy to pack and move between home and college. The unit doesn't take up much space, and fits nicely behind the screen. The AudioHub also functions like a docking station because of the three USB ports. This will make it easier to remove the laptop and take it to class or the library if needed. The sound is a huge step up from the laptop's integrated speakers, but not as good as a set of Creative Labs 2.1 speakers that we own. However, the difference is mainly because of the subwoofer and the AudioHub will take up a fraction of the space.I also like that the AudioHub connects as USB speakers. The installation was easy (plug it in, driver found). With the Creative's, the cable gets plugged into the headphone jack which is located at the front of the laptop. However, the AudioHub connects to a USB port on the side, so it looks better. The unit is powered by AC, so you'll need a wall outlet to use it. I knew this ahead of time, and don't consider it a problem. If you want to upgrade your laptop's sound, but don't have a lot of desk space available, the Logitech AudioHub delivers fine sound, USB expandability and a sleek design in a compact package.

Strengths: Compact, looks great, small, good price when on sale.
Weaknesses: Slightly on the weak side
Summary: You get what you pay for. These don't play like 5.1 full systems. It doesn't play like anything with a 10" separate subwoofer. What it DOES do well is as a notebook speaker set.

Strengths: Sounds Great. Slick looking.
Weaknesses: Too big to be portable.
Summary: This speaker system is the best notebook speaker that I have experienced given the price. It is suprisingly loud and the subwoofer in the center is excellent as well. The good thing about this speaker system is that it does not take up very much space on your desk. Very simple to install. Requires external power. Works extremely well with notebook computers. Not recommended for desktop. However, it performs decently with desktop as well. Highly recommended for casual user but not for traveler.

Strengths: Great sound quality; Well designed for space saving on desk
Weaknesses: Not easily portable
Summary: This Logitech 2.1 speaker system delivers surprisingly good sound, sharp, crisp. Probably one of the best at its price range. Even though it may not be as portable as some of those small systems, it is still well designed in terms of space saving on desk.

Strengths: great design, great sound, affordable, convenient, usb hub
Weaknesses: not portable(must be plugged in), not the cheapest
Summary: I was quite surprised by the sound quality of this Logitech AudioHub. For a relatively compact design these deliver some big and quality sound. It will offer a great boost to sound quality over existing Laptop speakers. One thing to note is this connects through usb only and is required to be plugged in. Since it does connect via usb it is also a usb hub which is quite nice bonus feature. The two speakers are adjustable so that they will extend out past your laptop screen so the device will sit nicely behind your laptop. I recommend this for people who travel and use there laptops to listen to music and movies because this will help you greatly enjoy them more.
